hey ive been creating a movie for my uni project, but I dont know how to capture clips from a dvd, i have downloaded freez dvd ripper,and cinematize pro 2 every time i select my dvd it says error no title any help

Clips on a purchased DVD are probably copy protected and thus copyrighted. Are you sure you'd even want them in your movie since you'd probably have to secure the copyright to distribute the project anywhere? If you've got the permission of the copyright holder they should be able to provide you with better quality captures than you could get from a DVD.
