So I am having troubles with my newely, e-bay purchased used Canon Gl1. Who didn't see that one coming. I had a tape in the camcorder tonight and got a "Remove Cassette" error. It wouldn't play, rewind, or record... or anything else. I put another tape in and all the functions work except when you playback something there are 4 large bars covering the screen and audio dropouts. Please tell me that a head cleaner cassette will fix these problems for me, and that my camcorder won't need hundreds of dollars worth of repairs that I can't afford.
