What did this guy use to edit this video? There's a lot more on Youtube if you just look up "Justin Wu". He's this fashion photographer and I love his work. He's one of the few reasons why I'm interested in making videos. The video is just beautifully shot, and in the beginning it looks so dreamy! Everything is so perfect in that video. Is it the lighting, software or just really expensive camera that he used? Sorry, I'm such a newbie! 🙁

It doesn't really matter what software they used, any editing software could edit this.

Its mostly in the lighting, there is a very strong backlight coming from the window which is very exposed. This gives the white glow to the image. Also the depth of field is very shallow so only a small part of the image is in focus which again gives this dreamy feel.

No need to apologize for being a newbie.

What you see in that video is a creative person surrounded by
experienced, skilled people. That dreamy look at the beginning
you like is a combination of good lighting, a good lens and what
is called "soft focus". You can get the same thing with some
time and experience. You do not need a really expensive camera.
Of course the camera matters and it will take a new filmmaker
some time to learn those skills.

You're interested in making videos - when will you make your
first one?
