I own a JVC mini-dv camcorder (GR-d270) and I've had it for almost over a year now. Recently I have been noticing this small little blue dot on my footage I shoot. This dot appears on the footage itself, the lcd and the viewfinder. Sometimes the little dot will go away when I change the shutter speed to "Off" or higher than "1/1000" same with turning the gain "off" or "full". When I seem to have the problem solved by switching around some of those camera settings, it comes back after awhile. I've established that it cannot be a dead pixel, because it disappears sometimes and when I use digital zoom, which zooms past my optical 25x, I can see the pixel move from where it was and go off screen until I zoom out to normal. I have tried using cleaning taped several times but no luck. Is there anything else I can try to fix this, maybe some sort of software that will remove that blue dot or some other type of cleaning I can do?
