I want to buy the HV20 one day but i want to buy it for $1100 rather than $2000 which it would probably cost here but would there be problems because all i really need is a computer to record my films onto so whether it is ntsc or pal it wouldn't really matter would it?
Shooting NTSC in Europe is a bad idea for numerous reasons.
Even if it is just onto computer? But then again i might see a problem if i want to make a feature film. What do you think about the HV20 people on here say it only has 1 sensor but i like the price and the fact that its got 24p?:)?
For example, if you shoot under flourescent lights the entire scene will flicker, and if you shoot at 24fps you'll need to slow everything down by 4% to make a PAL video.
Even just for the computer?:D?
So how much do you think it would cost in the uk?:)? I mean if it's only by ?400 i would buy it here.
Shop around Mic, find out! I bought my canon xh-a1 from dabs for ?2100, whereas some shops were selling it for over ?3000. It really pays of surf a bit and compare.
Generally, America is cheaper than the UK, but I would urge you to stay in this country as the compatibility and warranty issues could really become a problem.

Just had a look at your camera and it looks really nice. I think i might buy a 3 ccd camera to start with because i dont think i can stomach anything over ?1000 ?:)?
