Hello people! I am an aspiring filmmaker from Puerto Rico. I have no experience whatsoever with film other than watching it or maybe fooling around with a cheap digital camera, experimenting with light and shadow, etc. I am currently looking for a book that would cover everything from writing, producing, directing, shooting on DV,lighting, tape to film transfer, editing, shooting on a low budget, or/and just simply the basics on filmmaking. What would you recommend? Thanx, Manuel J.

Syd Field wrote a great book on the writing point of film, its called "Screenplay". Check that out if you can. -dean
