hi, I've got an old 16mm bolex, and i've loaded it (corectly i think) But every time I start to shoot it jams up. I've watched the film go through with the back open and it seems that the take up reel is moving faster than claw or something. So it will run for about 5 seconds and then as the loop tightens up start to slow down and then eventually tighten up so much it stops. Is there anything I can do to help this? Or is it no use?

Sounds like it probably needs a service. Do a search on Google for companies which service film cameras in your city, state, or country.
