Hi guys, I was just curious to know what would be better for editing video (like with Adobe Premier)- Mac, or Windows XP? I don't see how they could be all too different when using roughly the same program, but the majority of my friends say Mac is better... what's your opinion, and why?

Thanks much for helping this poor little newbie out ?:D?

Mac's seem to be set up better for any type of media work... however a custom built pc can be just as good... and pc are more compatible with everything... all mac really has is final cut pro... but if ure using premiere i say stick with what u know

I have both FCP and Adobe Premiere on my Mac. This allows me to be familiar with both systems. If i'm working with someone who is familar with either systemi have the option where as on PC i would be limited to Avid and Premeire so that was why i made my chice. Macs look sexy too!!!??:)?

I have to agree i love win 2000 also

However if u do decide on XP use professionnal... the diference in stability is dumbfounding... Microsoft should get sued for anything that isn't professional
