Best is a relative term. Blogger is free. A lot of people upgrade to a paid site after awhile because sometimes you get what you pay for and free isn't always great. Still it's a way to get started.

yeah thanks a lot, i think im gona sign up to blogger, they do videos, might get a paid site later on

Blogger is owned by google (I think) and so is youtube so hosting videos should be easy enough. I'm not sure how blogger does it but youtube hosting works nice as you can have the video on youtube and then embedded in a webpage so it can be found two different ways.

I would just go ahead and get a website, protect the name at the same time. Very inexpensive with GoDaddy... I did not start that way myself, never thinking I would have so many readers and it was a real nightmare (for me anyhow) to then switch to my own website...
Just a thought...
