I want to buy a digital camcoder so that i can shoot myself acting and practice filming and acting at the same time, non of my friends are interested, so i have to do it all myself, sucks, but i think i can do a good job.
by the way, i'm gonna buy a canon optura 20 to start with.

Filming yourself while being filmed? You may it find it more difficult than it sounds. If there is noone who helps to help you, why not try filming things with whatver toys you may have lying around. I have a couple of Batman films with my figurines that have turned out OK.
I'm sure your friends could be conned into helping you if you begged. But whatever you do is up to you. Good luck.
