1.Does anyone have anything bad to say about Mac's Final Cut Pro HD? Or any of their other editing software.

2.Does anyone have anything against Mac systems compared to PCs when it comes to video editing? (preference exempt)

3. Are there things that Final Cut Pro CAN NOT do that Avid can?

I ask these questions because besides cost, it seems like Mac has the best prosumer editing solutions around, and I was just wondering if I missed something. Thanks.

I take it from the silence that nobody has anything bad to say about Final Cut Pro HD. That Mac systems perform just as well if not much better than PCs. That Final Cut Pro can DO EVERYTHING that Avid can.

Right?

Right.

Personally, I prefer to talk about the good, rather than the bad. Your first two questions require saying bad things about a product instead of opening a positive discussion about the various NLE systems.

Sorry, I realize now that my approach was rather negative. My apologies. I have heard so many good things about Mac's editing software, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious. Thanks for the clarification.
