I for one subscribe to the philosophy that a degree in film school is not a must to succed in the industry. I do feel it gives one access to equipment with the understanding and confidence of how to use that equipment.

I'm hoping on accomplishing a basic knowledge and understanding of the equipment to better myself as a potential set PA, and gain a fundamental foundation to build on with local film groups.
