I was wondering if anyone out there had any advice on shooting rock/pop promo videos?
What I want to do is shoot a 6 piece rock band in a reasonably large room, that is all white but boxed off, like a room within a room. The band will all be wearing white or very light colours, and I will be projecting various news & tv footage over the whole area via a video projector, so the band will be covered with the projections. I will be shooting on DV tape, and I may also shoot some small clips on Super8 to vary it up a little.

I don't know if the light from the video projector will be enough (as I want the room to be as dark as possible in order for the projections to stand out), is extra lighting necessary without interfering with the projections?
