i have.
what tempo is the music?
its very important that you keep cuts consistent with beat in music videos.
when you make one of people playing instruments they aren't really playing, you have to sync up the motions with the song in post.
same goes with singers, its good to play the actual song off a stereo during the shoot so that they can lip sync it correctly.
other than that add some fancy glitter to the video, make it interesting, flashy, something people can love to watch.
let me know if you have any more specific questions, clearly.

Hey thanks for the reply, sorry that I have taken so long to reply though! Been a bit mental what with Christmas!

The tempos visually dark as its a grime video (Grime: A UK music movement which branched away from Hip-Hop, stereotyped as being negative! Commonly performed and produced by young people featuring negative issues, Which is where the term Grime came from becuase its seen as dirty by the mainstream)

Good example of grime: www.myspace.com/casperbirmz
Typical example of grime: www.myspace.com/hazzz2dablading

So its going to be visually urban with lots of buildings in the cinematography. Shot from lots of different angels.

My editings going to be fast paced to match the beat, which means it's going to be intriqcate and harder to edit than an indie/rock video!

So I dont have to worry about syncronising instruments because there aren't any, but I can see exactly where your coming from with regards to playing the music aloud as its some thing that I was originally planning to do.

If you could only give me 1 piece of advice! What would it be?

Bless, Cleary.
