Hi,
I am making a film in black and white, so I've tried different techniques on my camera and on my computer to find a sort of flickering black and white (like in the 20s, 30s, and 40s), but instead I find myself with a flat black and white.
This is what I am looking for

Are than any things I can do on my camera(exposure, lighting) to achieve want I am looking for?
And I am also planning to use shadows and all of that, so do you have any tips on lighting?
Thanks in advance
-Chris
