So I just made a video for a contest, it's about 2 minutes long, and I need some views and likes on it to get noticed! Amusing. You'll have to cut it much closer to 1 minute, though. If the video were a few seconds over 1 minute, I'm sure they would let it slide. But two minutes is twice the allowed time. There is no way your video would NOT be disqualified.
One other thing: I hope the music score you used is your original work (or original work for which you have very specific permission given by the author/owner to you personally). If it is not, you are NOT allowed to use it for the contest (actually, you are NOT allowed to use music for which you don't have license on any YouTube video).
Hopefully, you can cut it down to a minute or so. I wish you good luck! Come back and let us know how it went and if you won anything!
