Redundant title, but nonetheless.
Actually, it won't be just one question for all those that are connected with the process of making sound for a film, be it sound: directors/editors/designers/anyone, composers that maybe focus on film, foley artists, etc, etc...
So... how did you choose to do what you do? Why did it interest you? Was it something you knew you'd be doing or was it a moment's choice? Are you happy with that choice now?
What is usually the easiest thing for you to do, as in while producing and working with sound and connected things, and what is the most difficult?
*smiles* I'd greatly appreciate any responses.
Thanks
In terms of sound recording, one professional sound recordist I met said that it's often the easiest way to get into TV and movie production because you can build up a high-quality set of sound recording gear that will last you a decade for a few thousand pounds: you can't do the same with camera equipment, for example.
