Your call what is better?
I believe it depends on budget.
If you've got $200 to spend on film for a 90 minute flick, go with the Super 8 by all means.
But, DV can be reused over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and....

$200? I would think you'd need a budget of much more than that if you choose 8mm. you have to include the cost of processing it and editing it. after that, do you think it would still cost $200? I don't know, I'm asking anyone out who might know.
also, would it look better to shoot 8mm over a nice miniDV camera like an XL-2? what about 8mm B&W vs. XL-2 B&W?
could you hook up a boom mike to an 8mm camera easily and have good sound recorded?
thanks!
im a beginner and dv is kool real kool you can do alot of good damage with it
