Say you have a budget of $4K to $5K. You need a computer (probably preferably a Mac) that is capable of being both a video editing workstation and an audio workstation (capable of recording an album). You will probably need separate software, one for the video, and one for the audio that can work together on the same machine. You will also need a camera capable of recording at an indie-film level, and all the little goodies you can get to go with it. What would you go with? If you know of a better source or other forums I should/could post on, please let me know.
