In college, ten years ago, I produced a 104-minute video production on 3/4-inch SP videotape.
Is it possible to transfer it to a dvd, assuming I have a 3/4-inch tape deck to play the video? I'd rather use the 3/4-inch master. I know this is possible with 1/2-inch video, but not sure about 3/4-inch and whether adobe Premiere/etc allows this format. How much drive space would it take?
Any help appreciated--
Dale, a newbie to the DV world.
Basically you need to convert your analogue video to a digital file, so it doesn't really matter what format it's on. The question is whether you have access to a suitable deck that and computer that can capture analogue video.
Once you have your footage on the computer, the process of putting it on to DVD is the same as if you'd started on DV or any other format.
