Ok....have been making films with an old vhs-c for a while and i just bought a 16mm because i want to make (real) films. i need a lot of info though about the editing process. i can't find much info on any websites so im hoping you guys can help. first off, whats the deal with sound? its a stupid thing to ask but everything ive heard about sound editing confuses me. ive heard stuff about magnetic strips and syncing and sinc blocks and squak boxes or something and every bit of it confuses me.....

can anyone expalain this process to me in stupid terms so can understand? please?
