Just came across this website http://www.exposure.co.uk/eejit/tips/index.html
Fun website. I've been on there for a couple years now. Good stuff.

Ha, didn't even think of that.
Were there supposed to be 101? If so, we kind of got the shaft on that one. Quick someone call the ACLU and complain. FILMMAKERS ARE BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST!!! WE DON'T EVEN GET 101 TIPS!

I could be wrong, but I think the 101 is probably related to English 101, Math 101, Chemistry 101. 101 is a common first semester class in college.
I'm not sure if that's true in the UK (where the site is based) but if they don't have 101 tips, or an intent to eventually get 101 tips I think that's the most likely.

They ask for further tips to be added. Anyway what do you guys think on me getting a Panasonic GS280 is it worth it? i read the reviews and it has 800k pixels so it's standard?:)?

Never heard of this before...and I'm English!
It might be an Orwellian link to '1984'.

Not English as in British. Here in the States, college courses are usually numbered starting with 101. "English 101" being language (grammar, etc.) I'm not sure how far the numbering goes, but I do know that the final class at USC film school is 480. Here in Los Angeles "a 480" is slang for a very expensive student film usually starring one of daddy's friends or clients. For example: when you're on a low budget feature with no name actors and some film student mentions the lack of high end equipment or the really long days, you'll hear, "We aren't making a 480 here."

Well the original link would be, as svelter, the Room 101 reference to orwell's 1984. The room to end all rooms. So 101 would connote synpotical or ultimate, depending on context. Sweet, lovely bit of symantics to get the day rolling ?:D?

Personally, I think we're just overanalizing. How about it says 101 because the people liked that number and decided to throw it in their for posterity?

Exactly what I was doing. At least we're all on the same page.
