Im trying to decide between the 1 year accelerated programs that alot of schools seem to offer, which seems to be the last two years of a film BA compressed into one year, or if i should take the standard 2 year track.
The benefits of the one year is that its one year, but the negatives is that you cant work cause its that involved (oh darn:), but im more concerned if its counterproductive to have that intense of schooling and if it provides enough time to soak any of it in.
The benefits of the standard two year program is that its slow, really really slow if the last two years of college reflect the first two years. In a way this is a benefit cause it gives time to experiement and learn, but on the other hand i would be paying more and risk enduring yet another long drawnout string of classes designed for the lowest common denominator.
Whats your experiences with the two or one year degree track you took, took long, too short? too challenging, not enough?
