Nice. I don't like the music though. It just doesn't seem to fit right. Perhaps you should go with something more ambient? Anyway just a suggestion. At 1:12/1:13 when he touches the door handle, you could have like a flash and/or a sound playing. Sound is what would really add to that shot - something quick and sudden, followed my a little rumble.
Horror/thriller is all about scaring the audience when absolutely nothing is going on, so that when something does, the effect is worse. So, when he's coming down the stairs, how about some creaks?
at 1:00, when he's about to go to the door, you could try adding some quick dip to blacks...with creaking and ambience it'll be a whole lot better.
Good luck with this.

That's funny! So far everyone that's looked at it has liked the music. I tend to agree with you though... it's more thriller style music than horror. I'm not sure if I'm going to add sounds such as creaky stairs but there will be much more to it than what the trailer shows. (Sound-wise)
Thanks for the tips.
Anyone else?

Oh, right. Yeah the reason I don't like the music is because thats one of the things that makes student films look and sound really amateur. (More than they need to be) It's that semi-techno sort of thing that wayy too many people are using. Music controls the whole feel and even intepretation of the look of the film, so thats why I made that comment. (I'm a student composer).
Otherwise, good luck with that and please let me know when you have more clips on it. 🙂

Will do! Thanks for the advice. BTW, the music was preformed by Queen.
