Summer video workshop in Bulgaria

One week Video Production Workshop in Sofia, Bulgaria organised in conjunction with Sheffield Hallam University film student club
Open for anyone with basic prior experience

The purpose of this workshop is to give you an insight into video making by using current video acquisition equipment such as the SONY 790 digibeta camcorder.

A ?Hands-on? approach is preferred and the editing process is included in the tuition using AvidExpress. A short film (up to 5 min) is to be made during the workshop.

The topics covered during the seven days are:

Camera operation (Exposure, Framing, programming the camera chip)
Sound acquisition
Basic Lighting
Basic editing techniques

The town of Sofia offers many filming opportunities but the main part of the workshop will take place inside a studio provided by Sofia Film Studios. Lights and grip equipment will also be available for filming.
The cost for seven day workshop is ?500 including accommodation in a hostel.
10% discount available for bookings made before 1st of March.

The workshop is limited to a maximum of ten people.
There is an option for other local accommodation at extra cost.
