TheCinemaSource.com is proud to present a unique opportunity to amateur filmmakers in the New York City / Tri-State area. The Young Filmmakers Screening Series will allow you and three other winners the chance to have your short film shown before either The Interpreter (Universal), Rebound or Fever Pitch (Fox). In addition, all winners will receive prizes including, but not limited to:

?X A cash prize of $3,000 to the grand prize winner to help finance their next film
?X Film and/or video equipment
?X A free year??s membership to Withoutabox.com (the premiere filmmakers website)
?X A free 2 year subscription to Filmmaker Magazine
?X Their films hosted on-line at TheCinemaSource.com for the entire week leading up to their screening debut
?X Grand Prize winners will have their film shown at up to three (3) screenings directly before the feature
?X First, Second and Third place winners will have their films show at up to three (3) screenings prior to the Grand Prize winner and feature
?X V.I.P. Passes to an invite only wrap party to be held at a Manhattan location.

Application Fees:
?X $15 application fee if applying between February 1 and February 21, 2005.
?X $25 between February 22 and March 15, 2005.
?X $35 between March 16 and April 1, 2005.

Open to all amateur filmmakers in the New York City/Tri-State area. All films must be a maximum of six (6) minutes in length. Any and all formats accepts (Digital, Film, etc.). However, films must be initially submitted on DVD or VHS. Films may not contain gratuitous nudity, profanity or other obscenity. All prizes subject to change. Films will be judged solely by TheCinemaSource staff. Application fees are nonrefundable. Applications must be received by March 1, 2005 to be eligible.
