Hello everyone, I wanted to announce a new (very) short film. Feel free to take a look...hopefully someone will find it amusing.

Lunch Chat (3:16)
Julie, desperately overworked and underpaid, has some probing questions for her contact in HR.

Any comments or constructive criticism is very appreciated. Thanks for taking a look--

Brian

Didnt really like the dialogue or acting although i thought from a technical perspective (lighting, editing, angles) it was really good.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. This is definitely a first attempt on all parts--directing, acting, writing, editing. Total learning experience, we were mostly aiming for it just to be watchable.

Thanks for the feedback.

On a side note, I was looking at your other threads and saw you talking about lighting a card game in garage. I'm going to be doing the exact same setup in a few months, planning on just using a couple of worklights, one always above, then moving the other one per setup. Let me know if you figure out anything better...

thanks,
Brian

Yeah with the lighting for the card scene, i just had a few practicals already above and then just had 2 halogens (one behind the camera and one off to the side to reduce shadows) worked well, although i have created most of the look of it post production.
