To produce a film is to be the ringleader of the circus, the person keeping all the spinning plates up in the air. It is arguably the most confusing and difficult part of the filmmaking process with the least amount of job definition. If youre looking for a way to demystify the producing process, then Raindance film has a course for you!

The first class of this five-week course begins next Tuesday November 10. In this first section you will learn how to create a business plan, your plan of attack for getting the funds to shoot your film. This class will cover how to gather funds and how to present your project to both industry and private investors.

Though the entire course encompasses five weeks, you can purchase either the entire course or each evening individually based on your interest and need.

A brief overview of each subsequent class is listed below.

Week Two: Marketing And Selling Your Film Tuesday 17 November
How to assemble a strong press kit

Week Three: Basic Legal Contracts Tuesday 24 November
Understanding film contracts

Week Four: Budgeting and Scheduling Tuesday 1 December
Organizing a professional budget and schedule

Week Five: Movie Money Tuesday 8 December
