"Phone Sex Grandma" Ready for Action
Hit Park City Short to Become Feature Film
April 19, 2006 - "Phone Sex Grandma", the hit mockumentary short at the 2006 Slamdance Film Festival, is becoming a feature film.
The 9 minute short comedy, about a 60 something Grandma working a phone sex line in a small Southern ghost town, premiered in January at the Slamdance festival in Park City, Utah. It has since been playing in film festivals worldwide, receiving rave reviews.
Says Director Jack Truman, "This is a film people want to see. It's great to see the huge interest in a film that shocks and disturbs, while at the same time is hilarious, unforgettable, and makes people realize that people are nothing like you think they are."
Shooting is scheduled to begin this summer.
