Now in its third year, the 2018 Shore Scripts Short Film Fund offers writers the opportunity to become a produced screenwriter. Shore will be commissioning at least one short script to make a film with a budget up to $15,000 (minimum budget $9000.)
Two films have been completed out of the Film Fund so far:
Salam - ?url? http://www.shorescripts.com/salam-trailer-2016-short-film-fund-winner/?/url? A female Lyft driver navigates the night shift in NYC while waiting to hear life or death news from Syria.
The Orgy - ?url? http://www.shorescripts.com/theorgyshortfilm/?/url? A comedy story of a man looking for love in all the wrong places.
The filmmaking team will have the full support of Shore?s staff all the way through the production process, including equipment and post-production service deals.
The winning film(s) will be submitted to world-renowned film festivals, as well as being shown to our Oscar winning Judges, Production Companies, Agents, and Managers.
The fund is open to writers from all countries. Scripts must be in English. If a writer wishes to direct his/her own script, then we are open to this discussion.
