If you watched the video (above), you can see that we've had some great guests, who you have probably heard of - Barry Green (Panasonic HVX/DVX guru), Sonnyboo (HORRORS OF WAR), Christian Viel (RECON 2020 series, DEADEN, EVIL BREED).
This year is no different. David Schneider is the writer director of STARK RAVING MAD (starring Seann William Scott and Lou Diamond Phillips). Both he and Paul Hungerford will be there representing Fewdio. Garo Setian (producer of SPACE PIRATES) has been an editor at Lionsgate studios for several years. Jeff Palmer wrote/directed ON THE FRINGE and will be pimping THE SLEEPING DEEP. Chad Clinton Freeman, also known as PollyStaffle.com will be there. Trevor Anderson is the creator of DV Shade software and runs MovieMavericks.com, plans on being there.
I host the event and am a 30 year indie filmmaker vet with several distributed features, including EXILE, which premiered at the 09' Meet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xv5MkHWEK4c
Though it sounds kind of stupid - "at someone's house," that is in fact the charm of it, and has this going into the 6th year. We don't pay guests to come, rather they hear how cool these are and are gracious enough to participate. We have a half acre lot and movies are usually projected outside, with a fire and marshmallows. Several people pitch tents and sleep over. It's basically a 3 day slumber party, where you get to sponge on movies and demos.
This year's lineup slants heavily in the direction of horror, sci-fi and action, in that order. I'm very wary of keeping the audience's attention, so we've got some excellent shorts lined up. I have not seen the features, yet. They are all brand spanking new and not in release, yet.
Some pictures, if you are interested.

Well, it's over.... The Las Vegas IndieMeet 2010 went over very well. It was a nice intersection of People working in the industry and indie flimmakers. Patty Fantasia covers it in a two part article!
