I recently had the pleasure of interviewing producer Holly Mosher and writer/director Kathleen Slattery-Moschkau, the team behind "Side Effects," a satire on the pharmaceutical industry. The feature film, which stars Katherine Heigl ("Grey's Anatomy") was made for less than $200,000. I talked to Holly and Kathleen about how they were able to "Side Effects" for so little money and employ a talented, well-known actress in the process, as well as it was like to finance and distribute the film themselves (they are also self-distributing the DVD). The result is an informative and inspiring question & answer session.
