I have recently created two short films simply for entertainments sake, for you to watch from the comfort of your PC screen. They are absurd, daft horror films. You won't know if you're watching something silly or serious - but perceive it how you will 🙂

More information on these & future projects can be found at
http://www.screen7.co.uk/film/

Ginger In The Dark
http://www.screen7.co.uk/film/download/darkginger512.wmv
(10mb wmv - 5 mins)

Ginger In The Dark II
http://www.screen7.co.uk/film/download/darkginger2512.wmv
(80mb wmv - 20 mins)

Strong language in both, a million continuity errors & no awards for dialogue. We decided not to use much equipment for these ones either. Mark G is in the sequel, but thats not the forum moderator Mark G. 😉

un-amazing facts
- This film had no budget whatsoever. ?20 spent on petrol.
- I finally used my 8 year old smoke-bomb
- Shot on a little Panasonic DV camera, nothing fancy
- Does currently NOT feature original music
- Apparently better than "Fun with Dick & Jane", but I haven't seen it so I wouldn't know 😉
- Uses cheap, easy camera techniques, muchos hand-held too, I'm afraid
- Does not feature a sexy giant woman, sorry

bigphat films are an independent, no-budget production team from Oxfordshire, UK - producing bizarre but fun narrative movies.

I watched the first one and liked it! Think you could possibly have made a bit more of that spooky barn thing, some wider establishing shots. The shovel hit looked wicked, nice cuts, music was suitable. Only bad point was Thomas...cringeworthy bad comedy-acting, man!

Will check out the sequel when i get time

Men fear time, yet time fears the pyramids...

Thanks! Heh, you want more of that spooky barn thing? Watch the sequel 🙂 We max it out in that one!

LOL at cringeworthy acting...to be fair isn't all the acting in that cringeworthy? 😉 Anyway, he's supposed to be...well, I suppose I "politically correctuhhly" can't say it - but a....mentally challenged person. So I'd guess your reaction is actually quite a good one. Still, I hope you don't find him too annoying in the sequel!!! 😉

Thanks for your feedback though dude, I appreciate it 🙂

Thanks, I tried to join. After filling out the form I was rejected with a 404 error. The form is too long for me to want to fill it out again right now, I'll try some other time.
