?PLEASE NOT THAT THIS IS NOT THE FINAL EDIT - CURRENTLY THERE IS ONLY A JAPANESE VOICE OVER; ENGLISH SUBTITLES, MUSIC AND ANIMATION WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE FINAL CUT?
Our stunning short film was shot in 2 days and is based on a tale of Matsuo Basho, a famous Japanese haiku poet. Yoshi Oida takes the lead role, a highly talented and experienced actor who has worked with the likes of Luc Besson and Peter Greenaway.
We are now in the process of seeking completion funds for this unique film, as we require funding to complete the edit, animation sequences and processing of the final film for screening. This is where you can help support us as we are now looking for people to help sponsor our film in order for us to complete the film. We are looking for small contributions from individuals to businesses or organisations with a passion for film or Japanese culture, art, poetry... or perhaps all of the above. Or maybe you're just looking to support an amazing short film which has already received much interest from UK indie cinemas to a Japanese broadcaster...
If you are interested in supporting this film, please visit our funding site, where you can learn more about the film and how WE can reward YOU for your support, from a credit on our film to an Associate Producer title. Please visit:
