FilmLive.org is Scotland's newest and fastest growing Independent Film Network. It is a FREE resource dedicated to independent filmmakers, media access and production in Scotland.
FilmLive promotes filmmaking in Scotland by providing networking, news, information, opportunities and events centralised through a community based website.
Founded by two independent filmmakers, Ben McNeill and Neil Rolland with the simple aim of brining Filmmakers in Scotland together, FilmLive has grown rapidly since going Live in October 2006. Members? comments have included; ?this is a superb website and I hope great things come of this excellent network facility? and ?Great to finally see a resource for filmmakers in Scotland.?
Whether you are a filmmaking novice or an industry veteran, FilmLive.org is an invaluable resource. Got a short film and want some feedback? Post it on the site. There is a whole section dedicated to members work. Unsure where to start with getting your film made? Why not take a look at the in depth articles posted by experienced members. The site has a wealth of knowledge and if you cant find what you are looking for then ask the community in the friendly forums.
FilmLive is more than a website and in the coming months aims to launch events across Scotland.
