Just kicking off a thread to announce our forthcoming short, entitled, "Debt". It's in production and destined for a UK based competition. The idea spawned from deleted material from our feature project, "Conscious". Once complete, we'll post link and please wish us luck in the forthcoming competition.
We just finished shooting this and we're worn out! Im posting so newbie filmmakers can appreciate the stress involved in making a short thats setting high standards for itself in terms of sound design, photography, acting and story. To the pros, I say "Lads it just aint easy is it?"
Ive been knocking around the audio visual biz for many many years and this was the toughest yet in terms of budget and scheduling. But then, it is the first ever "drama" piece Ive directed.
We start post production shortly and we've decided to premier it here.(prior to competition) We're excited by the rushes and hope its well received. Its a dress rehearsal for our feature.

The idea came from our horror feature script, "Conscious" and gave us the opportunity to try out some things. "Debt" has been entered into a UK competition.
