Hi Everybody,
I wanted to let you know about an amazing film that is opening in New York City October 20th.
The film was shot on a DVX with a the mini35. It was an ultra low budget film, and the epitomy of run and gun.
The film was shot during the 2004 Republican National Convention and it centers around Massey a Republican deligate who falls into an unlikely affair with a girl he knew in college Lea ... who is now a liberal protesting the republican agenda. Thrown into the mix is Lea's friend Dylan, who has dropped out of being a protestor to become a father, has recently been hired to be a sign language interpreter for President Bush at the convention. What follows will test their beliefs about politics, love and commitment and push the buttons on both sides of the divide.
The PR budget on this film is pretty much zero, and the promotion has been taken to the grassiest of roots. So if you are a lover of independent cinema, or you have a wonderful kind heart please go watch a wonderful film, or pass this information on!
