i have a short doco in this event and would love for some of you to check it out and pass a vote on it. voting closes on the 17th of July, and we're only five votes behind the leader! the film is an experimental examination of living with blindness, which breaks many rules of conventional documentary making... it was shot silently on super8, has animated sections, flicks between b&w and colour selectively and avoids talking heads entirely. check it out, it's an unusual film. the fest will no doubt be taking submissions for next year soon, and it's been a great event to be a part of so far.
