In 2005, I spent 2000 taking 40 rookie actors and crew into the wilds of Newcastle and Gateshead in the North of England. The end result was 'Time Of Your Life', a 70 minute 'comedy' feature film.
Five years later, it sits on a hard drive in an unfinished semi-rough cut with a temp soundtrack.
The recent birth of my daughter has given me impetus to actually do something with the film, in an effort to get some recognition for the hard (and unpaid) work that those fantastic people put in to help me out. ?URL="http://finishmyfilm.wordpress.com"?'Finish My Film'?/URL? is a blog which I hope attract someone somewhere who has the ability or experience to allow me to get the film into a decent enough state to send it to festival and competitions and actually see where it could go.
The greatest film ever made? Well, no. But there's some decent bits in it, and with some extra tidying up it can probably stretch to generally OK.
So take a look and see what you think. Any comment, positive or negative, is gratefully appreciated.
