Film School at Night
Produce and Direct your own Short Film!
The Berkeley Digital Film Institute (BDFI) is offering a 10 week intensive night school film program, beginning on February 15, 2010
The program focuses on producing and directing your own short film. The hands-on classes include producing and directing, screenwriting, cinematography, and editing on Final Cut Pro. Classes are taught by veteran industry professionals inside the famous Saul Zaentz Media Center in Berkeley.
The night program will run three nights a week, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. Class size is limited to 12.
Former students who participated in the 10 week program said:
"... the school has been one of the best and most rewarding experiences I have ever been involved in."
"My experience at BDFI greatly exceeded my expectations. I gained truly invaluable information and skills in both the technological and creative aspects of contemporary digital filmmaking. More importantly, my professors at the BDFI had all had extensive real-life film production experience in the industry. I am thrilled to leave the school with solid skills in camera, editing, production, directing, and screenwriting; a fully completed scene with which to start my real professional reel; and insider industry knowledge that is sure to set me apart from my peers. Thank you to the BDFI for everything!"
