See the award-winning feature film "Taffy Was Born" which will be making its commercial theatrical debut at the Two Boots Pioneer Theater, 155 E3rd St. (between Ave. A and B) on Mon. Aug 8 at 7:00 pm as part of the Bizarro Mondays series.

The psychological mystery is about a troubled man returning to his small hometown after many unhappy years away, hoping to reclaim his life. But something is very wrong. Why is everyone increasingly uncomfortable with him? Is it his jail time, his history of mental illness...or is it something far worse? And just whom is "Taffy"?

"Taffy Was Born" premiered in Hollywood at the NY International Independent Film Festival where it won the award for Best Director. At its NYC premiere at the festival it won Audience Choice for Best Feature. The film also won Honorable Mention for Best Feature at the Genesis Media Group Competition. "Taffy Was Born" screened at the Cannes Film Festival Market in May and most recently was shown at the Forest Grove International Film Festival in Oregon.
