This is our first venture into film making as a independant self funded company and have undertaken a project, writen, designed, directed and produced by ourselves, with the ethic of bringing numbers of people together from all over london ?uk? with different talents in alternative and extreme performance/art, and those with skills from different warps of film making from creature & blood FX to Costume making. The emphasis being placed, as with whole ethos of our company, on giving everyone an opportunity to do something like this, whenther they are well established or just starting out, to work together, to create together.
In brief, the film takes upon the horror genre with faded elegance and ruined glamour & decadence, with its roots stemming from the iconic art of Vince Ray, to the aesthetics, sounds and visions of Rockabilly, with slashes of trash and pyschobilly, splatterings of 50s kitsch, Jack The Ripper's Victoriana, and magical freak show sheek!!
The project will end in 2 edits, a short film, and a music video. We are looking at an AUG/SEPT 2005 completion date.
