Hello everybody,
I am a struggling filmmaker from India who has just recently finished formal education in film. Anyway, I have made a few independent films that were outside our syllabus. I would appreciate any views and comments you might have on this particular one. It is originally in Hindi with English subtitles. The film has so far received positive comments from my teachers, colleagues, friends and total strangers. So, if you are interested, here is the film. I will appreciate any views and comments you might have. Thanks!

A short synopsis:
Seven students are being interviewed in relation to a classmate of theirs, Mayur, whom they all hate for various reasons. Well, much to their dismay, Mayur has gotten the highest marks in the yearly examinations. Through the course of these interviews, this film explores not only their various relationships with Mayur, but travels through the valley of their inner most selves, revealing things that perhaps even the characters themselves did not know. "Peacock" is a comedy at heart that sometimes borders on the experimental. It is essentially a tribute to college life as it is in India.
A little bit about the film:
This film was completed for about roughly $350 and was shot over three days. It was shot on a Sony PD-170 camera, in miniDV format. Much of the film was shot guerilla style, with the actors and the crew getting to a location, completing all the shots (sometimes even in just one take) and getting out of there before anyone got suspicious. Overall, the film took about three months to complete, taking into account the pre and post production stages.
