Showreel, in association with leading technology and facilities companies, is launching a competition to find the best treatment for a 10-minute short. The winner, selected by a panel of judges, will be provided with the following kit and services to help them make their short:
A Panasonic Progressive Cinematography Camcorder for six weeks
Sennheiser sound recording equipment loan
Arri lighting equipment loan courtesy of VMI
A week of studio time at Pinewood Shepperton
Professional video editing at Covent Garden post house Frontline Television
Audio editing by BAFTA-winning editor Cliff Jones of Sound Monsters in Soho
An original music score written especially for your short by Chris Worth Productions
And lots and lots of publicity in the pages of Showreel magazine. We will also help market the finished short to festivals and events.
The winner will receive all of the equipment and much of the expertise to turn their script into reality. They just have to provide the talent.
