The 2014 BlueCat Screenplay Competition is now accepting short screenplay submissions! This year?s competition will award a Grand Prize of $10,000 for Best Short Screenplay - the world?s largest cash prize for shorts.

2014 BlueCat Screenplay Competition
Regular Deadline: Tuesday, October 15th 2013
Shorts - $50 ($29 for students)
The BlueCat Screenplay Competition dedicates itself to the development of screenwriters worldwide and we are proud to continue our tradition of giving written feedback to all screenplay submissions - all shorts will receive a written analysis from our readers.
Short Screenplays submitted by our October 15th deadline will receive feedback by November 10th. Writers will have the opportunity to rewrite their shorts and resubmit before our final deadline on November 15th.
Short Screenplays submitted after October 15th will receive their feedback by March 1st, 2014. These shorts will not be eligible for resubmission. Entry fees will increase after the October 15th deadline to $60.

Four Finalists will receive $2,500 USD

Three Finalists will receive $1,500 USD
? The Cordelia Award for Best UK Feature Screenplay - $1,500 USD Prize
? The Joplin Award for Best International Feature Screenplay - $1,500 USD Prize
