Hello everyone
I'm a newb her, and hope to be a regular from now on. I'd like to start by sharing a link to a big action/adventure "epic" I've recently completed, called "10 Minutes" (epic title...not quite)
Please let me know what you think, any commentary, good or bad, is welcome. It is in quicktime for now, however if there is demand I can get a WMV version up as well.
Thanks guys
Here's the link

btw, I stuffed up the compression on the audio, so please excuse that annoying "hissing" all the way through. I'll try to get a better one up.
Thanks
idk if its just my computer but there seems to be no video just audio when i click the link.
You probably have to update your version of quicktime

Very nice. Professional looking and action packed. I liked it.

It looks great. Although, I'm not sure if the font for '10 Minutes' gives the story its proper credit.

Thanks guys, appreciate the positive feedback. I really do need to get a title plugin, I'm still just using the built-in stuff in FCP.
Looks fantastic! I can't wait to see the final film!
Good Work!
when will be able to see the entire thing?
As low-budget trailers go, it's pretty good. The acting is believable and the cinematography and audio is decent: it doesn't really tell me much about the movie so I can't really comment on anything else.
What was it shot on? Some stills on the DVD cover and parts of the trailer have the normal 'shot on DV' look, but other parts look a lot better than that.
I think the trailer pretty much tells you the ENTIRE story. Keep in mind, it IS only a 15 MInute film...and 10 of those minutes are pretty much just an extended action sequence. Its a teaser, surely its supposed to give you just enough information to be intrigued without telling you the whole story. I hate trailers that give everything away.
As for the gauge, it was all DV. Sony PD-150 to be precise. Not sure why some bits would look better than others...
FGlad you liked it though ?:D?
Cool trailer.
Looks a bit like an episode of "Lost"
