Hey all:
My 25-minute short film "The Tolltaker" is debuting this month at the NJ Film Festival. It's an adaptation of a feature length screenplay I wrote a couple years ago. My goal is to use the short as a calling card to get the feature-length version made. To do that, I would like to create as much buzz as I can online through social media like Facebook and Twitter. That can be measured quantitatively (through views and "likes", etc.), and presented to potential backers to demonstrate that an audience for the movie exists.
Has anyone else tried this? What kind of success have you found? Here is a link to watch a trailer for the movie:
