I have a script, based on a true story, ready to be reviewed, and potentially be produced. Does anyone know how and who to contact as far as Socially Conscious Filmmakers? Any names, companies, etc?

It's hard to help without know what you mean by socially conscious. How about a few films that you think of as socially conscious. Is it just based on a true story?
