Soundtrack is the aspect of production I find important to develop early in the process. I don't wish to over-stuff my films with music, but underlay them just enough to emotionally connect with the audience. Building the soundtrack early in the process reaches out to many crew members and gives them a strong connection to what the film will sound/feel like, it motivates/pushes them as well.
