These things happen guys. I haven't been around here very long, but I'm genuine.Lets move on with the genuine members, with filmmaking in their blood. Maybe the moderators can sort it. Its unfortunate, but I couldn't look at anymore contributions from those who thought the pic was real. They are the genuine contributors and deserve better.Wannabe2007 = Hasbeen1987.
Who are you referring to when you say fakes, or not genuine members? I have yet to come accross anyone yet that is not genuine.
I was referring to posts from a spammer (wannebe2007)that are deleted now. As a result my remaining post looks somewhat out of context.

I have to admit your post completely throws me, as I missed seeing any spamming.

"We all have the potential to be great. It is our inability to do so that makes us miserable." C.S.Lewis
I'll clear this up again.
A few weeks ago a poster by the name of wannabe2007, introduced themselves on this thread claiming to be a teenager and having made a film to which a youtube link was provided. I subsequently spotted that the claim was a lie and that the film was made many many years ago and even had a an imdb entry. I asked the moderators to remove the posts as it wasnt fair on the genuine forum members. So the offending posts have been removed and now my remaining post is out of context.
Ah intrigue. Maybe someone should make a film about it ?:p?

And then my joke was that I made a joke about your joking joke.

I'm confused. ???

When the script writing is done, the work has just begun. When the filming is done, the work has just begun. When post-production is done, the work has just begun. When the distribution is done, you decide if the work is done.

I'm 17, been writing since i was 12 (my first screenplay had a nice BIG picture of a Moon on the cover page, and was more or less a dry script, lol). I just recently became interested in directing and now my feature is in pre 🙂
I am 23. Just started writing about a year ago but have been taking film classes in college (Im majoring in Film Studies) for about a year and a half.
I'm 29 and based in the grey U.K.
I've had one film made in the USA by a Utah-based group and I'm currently working on a short film in the U.K. I'm into character-driven, odd, smart comedies such as the ones that Woody Allen used to make.
I'm currently getting a crash-course on the technical side of things, learning more about camera work, lighting and editing.
I am 29...started just about a year ago...have made about 5 short films, here's a link to one of them:

I'm 22. I started making what I consider now to be home movies when I was in middle school. I got serious about film about 4 years ago and produced my first feature. Ever since I've been shooting shorts and other projects.
I have 2 production companies, one for fiction and the other for client work. The fiction one is getting a hefty resume, where as the client one has little work that I'd want to put on a reel (the reason I started it, to keep the fiction company's name intact when clients ask for stupid things).
For a day job, and to pay the outrageous equipment fees, I work as a video editor for an ad agency.
21 and 9.
Finishing of school and will be moving to Hollywood in about a year and a half.
I'm 24, from Nairobi Kenya. Wanted to be a lawyer all my life, and write part time. At 20, after 1 month of law school, I saw the light and quit Law School for a Film/ TV course. Been making films since I was 20 now...I still write part time, on my blog ( http://darkangelme.blogspot.com) and on those many many manuscripts under my pillow.
I'm a Production manager at Ginger Ink Films, one of the biggest Film/ TV Service Production Companies in Africa.
